Her Name is Faith

In the middle of her life,
A Crone in years,
she has experienced a lot,
shed many tears.
Shy in many ways but bold in others,
Not taking very much for herself,
But giving to her sisters and brothers.
Still peeking out is the little girl.
Still talking to fairies and dancing with abandon.
Writing her little poems; words at random.

My love is like an ocean
It goes down so deep
My love is like a rose
Whose beauty you want to keep.

That will never end
My love is like a dove
With a beautiful message to send.

That goes on and on forever
My love is like a prisoner

Fire Goddess

There is so much I want to share with you,
But my words are lost within me
I have so many emotions
How do I make you see

Life is not that simple
Hear this from my heart
Our love will concur all
As we stand here at the start.

Not speaking to you is killing me
You there and me here
But one day soon that will change
And I will finally have you near.

The Angels they did send you
The day that we met
Our love will last forever
As in concrete it is set

Come fly, fly with me baby

We can explore our love together
And set our emotions free.

For the skies are without limits

Sister Wind

I hear Sister Wind calling,

She is ringing the chimes.

Gently her breath soothes my soul,

Giving life to the end of time.

I hear Sister Wind calling,

Sighing in the trees.

So softly yet firmly,

She sets my mind at ease.

Yes, Sister Wind is calling,

And will always be in my heart.

Forever blowing wisdom,

She will never, ever part.

The Light

I saw the Light today,
I cherished His everlasting love.
I felt Her warm embrace.

I saw the Light today,
He gave me strength.
She took my worries away.

I saw the Way today,
with wonder and awe in my heart,
clear and straight.

I saw the Way today.
I wept with joy,
I shouted my praise.

I see the Light
and it is me.

Sweet dreams my love,
sleep in the arms of angels.
Sweet dreams my darling,
sleep with my kiss on your lips.

A tender touch to soothe your heart,
a sweet whisper of love words.

This is an old one, inspired by a person whom I loved but has passed away. I wrote this when they were sick and I knew they were dying. A Love poem or a last goodbye.

Thank You

Your presence calmed my restless soul,
your love my restless heart.
Your laughter made my day so nice,
your teasing made me laugh.

Thank you for being my love,
our love will never depart,
and for being the friend I needed,
forever there in my mind.

Missing you

Missing you is like a piece of me is missing,
a part of my heart floating adrift.
Missing you is an ache in my being,
nothing can soothe it but you.
Forever my love for you will grow,
and because of that my soul cries out for you.
Missing you is bittersweet,
a piece of my self lost in the void.
You are my other half and without you
I AM lost.
Missing you my darling.

Going To Summerland

Don't tell me when you go to Summerland without me,

For surely then I will cry.

Don't tell me with sweet kisses and smiles,

For then I will know it is goodbye.

Tears of sadness followed by tears of understanding,

Because I know Summerland is the place you will go.

Just hold me one more time before you leave me,

For tears of joy instead of sorrow will flow.

Don't tell me you are going without me,

But if you must and I somehow know,

Remember me when you get there

For Summerland is also where I will go.

Riding Dragons

My God riding with Dragons in my dreams

In the tallest grasses I’ve ever seen.

My Goddess flying with Fairies in the plains

Never thinking I’d ever see you again.

Laying in meadows; my thoughts awry.

Dancing in the wind; dreams going by.

My God riding Dragons in my dreams

This time you are there it seems.

My Goddess flying with Fairies in the plains,

You are holding me oh so tight again.

This time I know it is for real,

For in dreams past I could not feel.

My God riding with Dragons up so far,

I keep you close to me in my heart.

My Goddess flying with Fairies in my dream,

No more crying in my sleep.

Riding with only you forever

Flying with you to part again never.

As the leaves change color with the season,

My love for you grows; I need no reason.

Cold bites at my nose; as I kiss your chilled lips.

A warmth between us grows

No matter the weather’s nips.

Inside we cuddle, prelude to love.

Autumn leaves may change,

But never our closeness

Sweet touches, gentle nips on cool skin,

Sighs meant only for a lover,

Bringing us even closer.

The blankets are gone,

Our heat is enough

Sweat, slick on our bodies,

But just as the seasons; not for long.

Autumn leaves may change,

But not so our passion.

It grows with the passing of each day,

Changing with the autumn leaves

Is our Autumn Love.

Twas'a Fairy dance glorious
I came upon one day.
First came a twinkling sound,
A whisper in my ear: tis'the Fey.
I turned around and no one was there,
But I felt the presence still in the air.
First, lights danced around my feet--
All colors, some I've never seen.
The lights, then shot into the air
Back down they came without a care.
Swaying before I realized what I'd done,
Dancing with a frenzy; with the lights I became one.
Twirling before I could stop,
I danced with the Fey till I dropped.
Laughter all around, faces peeking at me.
I know I danced with the Fairies,
A gift so glorious to see.

Lingering Scent

Your lingering scents on your pillow,
I hold it close and smell your essence.
I smile remembering your climaxing cry,
holding me till I thought I would die.

I sigh knowing our time together was short,
But time is not what was important.
I remember it was the look, the feel of you,
and realized that would have to do.

Sweat making us slide together,
in a rhythm older than time.
Such a lover was you,
I cried out too.
Sated, happy, heart beating fast,
Knowing it was not going to last.

Lover gone now for a while,
Yes, I remember the scent;
and I smile.
